Lubber Run replaces a community center originally constructed in the 1950s in Arlington, VA. Lubber Run Community Center was designed by VMDO Architects and OCULUS, which brings a net-zero energy facility with over 60,000 square feet of public park space, situated over structure and kept watertight by Monolithic Membrane 6125. The landscaped features are powered by the Garden Roof Assembly to which the local community have access to. Additionally, the landscape design areas of the steep sloped lawn features are secured by GardNet adding vertical interest and dimension to the park.
