The design team for the 3rd and A apartment building in San Diego, CA did an amazing job of mixing hardscape and softscape features to compliment the amenity space where tenants spend much of their time. It was completed using Hydrotech’s Extensive Garden Roof® Assembly and Ultimate Assembly® with an interesting and subtle boarder feature that does more than provide the wind ballasting requirements. The design team chose to expose the tips of our Checker Block® units to create a geometric pattern that adds an aesthetic flair to the outdoor space.
