American Hydrotech Hires Richard C. Hayden as Garden Roof Department Manager

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (February 16, 2011) American Hydrotech, Inc., a recognized leader in the development and distribution of premium waterproofing and roofing products, today announced the addition of Richard C. Hayden as Garden Roof Department Manager. In this role, Hayden will be responsible for overall management of the Garden Roof department, including ongoing promotion of Hydrotech’s Garden Roof® Assembly in and effort to educate and engage architects, owners, developers and installers in the design, installation and overall benefits of green roofs.

Hayden brings more than 30 years of landscape architecture experience to Hydrotech, an expert in all aspects of design and management of streetscapes, parks, plazas, infrastructure and site development projects for schools, fire stations and other municipal facilities. His experience has included a number of green roofs in the Chicago area, including two green roofs at the soon to be completed renovation of the Charles H. Pomeroy Apartments for the Chicago Housing Authority. He has been deeply involved at firms in the Chicagoland design arena as well as his own firm, Hayden Bulin Larson Design Group.

Residing in Park Ridge, Ill., Hayden holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Council of Landscape Architecture Registration Boards and is licensed in a number of states.
